Good day! CHRDF would like to announce that due to some unavoidable circumstances, we have no recourse but to postpone our seminars on following schedules:

July 6, 2016 - Authentic Assessments for Global Competencies
July 13, 2016 - Transformative Learning from Theory to Practice
July 13-14, 2016 - Haraya: Seminar-Worksyap sa Paglinang ng Kagamitan sa Mother-Tongue Based-Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE)


Perhaps the scheduled date is in conflict with our members and interested parties therefore we are constraint to re-schedule the event in a future date to be announced later.

OBJECTIVES: This two-day seminar-workshop aims to serve as a forum to discuss the key information, concepts and strategies, to enable the resources and services of the library harmonize with the demands of the K-12 program. This seminar will also provide an excellent opportunity for the participants to enhance their knowledge, attitudes and skills through exposure to the current issues of harmonization of library resources and services to the K-12 program that will ultimately make them highly involved in the school wide instructional program.


Who should attend: School Librarians, School Administrators, Guidance Counselors, Classroom Teachers, Teachers, Teacher-Librarians, Library Science Teachers and Library Science Students

Parliamentary Procedures for Barangay Officials

Who Should Attend: Barangay Chairman,  Secretary, member of the Sangguniang Pambarangay,  Legislative body of the barangay, Sangguniang Kabataan Secretary 

Sessions conducted by the Sangguniang  Pambarangay in manner and procedure not within the rules will result to disorderliness resulting to unsound decisions and  unproductive outputs.

The recent barangay elections ushered in a mixture of new and incumbent barangay officials who need to be acquainted and  enhanced on how to conduct meetings properly.

This one day seminar will give the new and incumbent barangay officials an opportunity to attend a formal training in parliamentary procedures.

Records Management: A Tool for Governance and Decision Making for Barangay Officials

Who Should Attend: Barangay Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Records Officer, Clerk and any interested member of the Sangguniang Barangay, Legislative body of the barangay, Sangguniang Kabataan Secretary and Treasurer.

The recent barangay elections ushered in a mixture of new and incumbent barangay officials who need to be acquainted and enhanced on how to keep an effective records management system in their barangay offices.

Section 384 Book II of the Local Government Code states that the Barangay serves as the  primary planning and implementing  unit of government policies, plans, programs, projects and activities in the community. This role entails the endless creation and production of many  records. Thus, Section 394 of the code specifically appoints a barangay secretary to keep custody of all records of the sangguniang barangay and the barangay assembly meetings while Section 395 appoints a barangay treasurer to keep  custody of barangay funds and properties that also requires records keeping to ensure that   financial reports shall be made available to the members of the barangay and other government agencies concerned.

This one day seminar will give the new and  incumbent barangay officials an opportunity to attend a formal training in records management.
